  • Who can buy from Mondodeal.com?
    a) To be able to shop at Mondodeal.com, you should be above 18 years of age and legally allowed, by the laws governing your land, to shop in India.

  • I live outside India, can I order for a delivery in India?
    Yes, you need to provide an Indian delivery address. To check whether we deliver to the required pin code click here. You can provide a billing address as a non-Indian address.
  • Can I send a gift even if I do not have the postal address of the recipient?

Yes, Mondodeal.com enables you to send gifts to their loved ones even if you know only their email address, and do not have their postal address. Please check Gifting Via Email page for more details

  • How can I stop Mondodeal e-mails from going into my spam folder?
    We take extreme care to not spam our customer’s mail boxes. However, due to personal settings sometimes our emails may land in your spam / junk mail folder. You will need to add Mondodeal mail ids  into your trusted sender list
  • How do I manage the emails I receive? Or how do I unsubscribe from your mailing list?
    a) Based on the choices you have made during various online / offline interactions with us, we would communicate with you periodically for event based communications such as order information, renewal notices, invites, reminders, special offers etc.
    b) If you no longer want to receive emails from us, you can select your preferences online in "My Account" section. However, you would continue to receive transaction based e-mails such as order confirmation mail etc.
  • How do I check the current status of my orders?

             You can review the status and other information of all your orders, whether pending or fulfilled, that you have placed with Mondodeal.com.To check the status of your pending orders, click on the “My Account” link in the top of any page on our store. This will take you to your My Account page, where you can click on the “My Orders” link to view the status of all orders. 
To view the status of a specific order, click on the “Order Number”. After your order is shipped out from our warehouse, we will send you a mail with the shipping details.

  • How can find/search for a gift for particular occasion for a man/woman?

You can directly search for the product as per the specific occasion or for men/women from the menu at the top of any page

  • Where can I find / search a particular product?
    You can directly search for the product you are looking for through the search box provided on every page. Alternatively you can navigate through our site map for categories in which you are most likely to find your desired product.
  • I am looking for a particular brand how can I find it?

             You can search for the brand through the search box provided on every page by typing the brand name in the search box

  • How can I make a payment?
    Currently we accept the following methods of payment:
    • VISA Credit & Debit Cards
    • American Express Credit Cards
    • Master Credit & Debit Cards
    • From your net banking account with most Indian banks. See list

  • Do you accept debit cards?
    Yes (if your issuer bank permits online transactions)
  • Do you accept payment through cheque/Demand Draft?
    No, currently we do not accept payment through cheque/Demand Draft.
  • Can I redeem Mondodeal gift voucher for online shopping?
    No you cannot redeem physical (paper) gift vouchers online.

When would the payment be deducted from my card account? Would I be charged as soon as I complete ordering online?
Your payment card, or net banking account will be charged when you place an order with us, or before we dispatch your order.. In the event of any part, or full cancellation of your order, after your card or net banking account is debited, the amount you have paid for the cancelled item(s) shall be credited into your Mondodeal account, and you can conveniently use the accumulated Mondodeal credits to pay for future purchases (click here for details).

  • Is Stop-payment allowed in case I realize my card has been misused or a purchase made fraudulently?
    You will need to report the incident to your card issuing bank.
  • What should I do if my credit/debit card has been compromised when I am trying to make a payment online?
    We do not store your complete credit card information on our website, and hence this cannot be compromised on our website. If you suspect that your card has been compromised on some other website and has been misused on our website, please immediately report the incident to your card issuing bank 
    Please also refer our Privacy Policy, which mentions that we do not collect or store your complete credit card information, and this is securely transmitted directly to the Bank’s payment gateway.
  • What is a 3D Secure password?

The 3D Secure password is implemented by VISA and MasterCard in partnership with card issuing banks under the “Verified by VISA” and “MasterCard Secure Code” services, respectively.
The 3D secure password adds an additional layer of security through identity verification for your online credit/debit card transactions. This password, which is created by you, is known only to you. This ensures that only you can use your card for online purchases.

  • I do not wish to use a credit/debit card online, or net banking. Can I still buy from your site?

If you are not comfortable making an online payment on www.Mondodeal.com, you can opt for the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment method instead. With COD you can pay in cash at the time of actual delivery of the product at your doorstep, without requiring you to make any advance payment online. COD payment option is available on orders of value between Rs.500 and Rs.10,000 It is strictly a cash-only payment method. Gift Vouchers, Demand Drafts, Cheque’s, Store Credit, etc. cannot be used for COD orders. Foreign currency cannot be used to make a COD payment. Only Indian Rupees accepted. 

  • How do I place a Cash on Delivery (COD) order?

All items that have the "Cash on Delivery Available" icon displayed on the product page, are valid for order by Cash on Delivery.

Add the item(s) to your cart and proceed to checkout. When prompted to choose a payment option, select "Pay by Cash on Delivery", and provide the required information, including the mobile number of the recipient which is required for coordination of delivery and payment

Verify the recipient’s mobile number by sending an SMS as per the details provided on the order confirmation page after your place the order. We shall then process the order and deliver, and collect payment at the time of delivery 

  • How can I get a return an item ordered using COD?

You would need to send us a mail on [email protected] requesting a return of the ordered items. Once received we would go ahead and have the order picked up from you and brought to our warehouse. Once the same is checked (Item should be in its original packaging and unused condition without any damages or tampering.) we shall refund the amount as Mondodeal Credits into the Mondodeal account of the registered customer who has placed the order.

  • Is there a charge for payment made using COD?

Payment using Cash on Delivery is FREE, and we do not apply any additional charges for orders placed using COD

Cancellation / Returns / Refund related Queries

  • What happens if an item I have ordered is out of stock? –
    a) If the item is out of stock when you are trying to add it to your shopping bag, you will be informed immediately and the item won’t get added to the shopping bag.
    b) However, if the item goes out of stock after it has been added to your shopping bag but before check out is completed, you will be informed at the time of check out. You would then need to remove it from your bag before proceeding to check out.
    c) If an item goes out of stock after you have placed your order and received an order-confirmation, then we will put forward our best attempt to fulfill the order by sourcing the selected item. In the event that we are unable to source it for you, or if it is likely to take longer than 10 days to ship, we will inform you about the delay and cancel the item, and reverse any charges made to your credit / debit card against that item.
  • Is there a limit to the quantity that I can order for?
    No. However, in some cases where the order quantities are large, we may verify in order to ensure your security, to confirm that you have indeed ordered for these items.
  • Can I cancel an order or an item?
    a) Yes, you can cancel the order fully or partially before it is shipped. To check the status of whether your order has been shipped or not, click on the “Order Status” link at the top of the page, and then on the link to the specific order, which will indicate the shipping status of each item in your order.
    b) However, additions to an order, or changes to the item ordered, are not possible.
  • What is your return/refund and replacement policy? 
    We offer a 30 day exchange policy, which is applicable to most products sold on Mondodeal.com. Please refer our Cancellation & Exchange Policy for more details.
  • Do I need to pay shipping charges for any items returned to you by courier?
    No, we offer FREE shipping on returns, which means that any items you wish to return are collected by our courier at our cost, and you do not bear any charges for the same. In some locations, if we are unable to arrange to offer a courier pickup, we may request you to courier the package to us through a courier of your choice, and send us the details and scanned receipt of the courier bill, and we shall credit the amount you have paid towards courier charges into your account with Mondodeal.com.
  • I want to return a product, how can I do that?
    You may return merchandise to us in the following ways:
  1. You may call Mondodeal.com customer care on (088) 6620 4020, or email us at [email protected], and request an exchange. We will arrange for the merchandise to be collected from the delivery address through courier, and returned to us. We shall process the return subject to receipt of the merchandise at our location in unused condition in its original packaging along with original tags and invoice, failing which return/ exchange / refund may not be possible. 
  2. In some locations, if we are unable to arrange to offer a courier pickup, we may request you to courier the package to us through a courier of your choice, and send us the details and scanned receipt of the courier bill, and we shall credit the amount you have paid towards courier charges into your account with Mondodeal.com

B) If you request a return/exchange through courier collection, at the time of collecting the merchandise, you will be given a courier Airway Bill, which is to be retained for future reference. Please also keep a copy of the sales invoice or order number gift tag number, before handing over the return merchandise and original sales invoice to the courier.

How will I receive my money for the products which I have returned or cancelled?
When you cancel any items in your order, for which your debit/credit card, or net banking account has been charged, or when you return any item to us, in accordance with our returns policy, the amount of such cancellation or refund will be credited into your Mondodeal credit account, within two working day of the cancellation, or return processing.

If you have placed an order, without signing in using a password, or without using the Facebook login facility, then we shall create an account with the email ID provided while placing the order, and email you a link, using which you can set a password for your Mondodeal account, into which the Mondodeal credits for any cancellations or returns will be credited.

Please note in case of returns of items ordered using Cash on Delivery (COD), the refund amount shall be credited into the registered Mondodeal account of the customer placing the order, as Mondodeal credits.

If you are sending a gift to another person, and want to allow the recipient to return the item and buy some other item from our website, you may authorize us to credit the recipient’s Mondodeal account in case of return, instead of crediting your Mondodeal account, by sending an email to [email protected], from the email ID used while placing the order, providing us the recipients email ID and authorizing us to credit the recipients Mondodeal account.  In such a case, we shall inform the recipient to register with Mondodeal, prior to processing the return, and shall credit his/her account with the amount of the return.

 In the event that you prefer to receive a credit into your card/net banking account, instead of accumulating Mondodeal credits, in case of cancellations or returns where your card/net banking account has been charged, you may mail us (from the same email ID provided while placing the order) at [email protected] providing the order details and instructions for crediting your card/net banking account for the amount charged on this account, instead of crediting your Mondodeal credits account at the time you request for such cancellation or return. Please note that we shall be unable to process a refund to your card/net banking account, after a credit has been processed into your Mondodeal account.

Once credited into your Mondodeal account, Mondodeal credits cannot be exchanged for cash, or credit into your card or net banking account.


Can I get warranty/guarantee for the product?
If a product has a manufacturer’s warranty/guarantee associated with it, it would be mentioned along with the other product details


Privacy / Security related Queries

  • I want to opt out of the e-mail list, how can I do so?
    You can unsubscribe from the e-mail list by making the changes in our profile in the My account section. Alternately, you can click on the unsubscribe option in the e-mail received by you to unsubscribe from that type of e-mail.
  • I am concerned about the security aspects related to typing out my credit card number online.
    Using your credit/debit card to shop on Mondodeal.com is safe. We do not capture or store your credit/debit card information on our website, and this is only entered by you on the secure payment gateway page provided by CC Avenue, our payment gateway provider.   • Is the information I enter encrypted?
    Yes we encrypt all credit / debit card or payment information using 128 bit encryption programs.

  • Where do you deliver? Or; do you deliver to my city?

Mondodeal delivers to over 5000 locations across India. To check if we deliver to a particular location, you may check delivery to that Pin Code by clicking here.

  • What is your shipping policy?

  • Do you deliver out of India? Do you have plans to deliver out of India?
    No we are sorry, but as of now we do not deliver out of India.
  • What happens if I am out when you deliver?

All deliveries are made between 10.00am and 5.00 pm on working days, and in the event that a delivery cannot be made on the estimated delivery date, due to no one being available at the shipping address, we shall leave a “missed you’ card, and attempt delivery again the next working day) Our shipping company will leave a message and attempt again. We urge you to plan and coordinate the purchase in a manner that someone is available to accept the shipment at the provided delivery address.

  • What if only part of my order has arrived?
    While we shall endeavor to ship all items in your order together, this may not always be possible due to product characteristics (e.g. a very large item ordered along with a small , high value item), or availability. If it is necessary to ship some items in your order separately, we shall inform you prior to shipping the order.
  • What if my order arrives damaged?
    a) If you realize that the package is damaged before accepting the delivery, please do not accept the delivery and immediately inform us. 
    b) If you have accepted the delivery, and then realized that the package is damaged, please feel free to get in touch with us within 30 days of receiving the package. With an exception of a few items we have a 30 days return / exchange policy. For details please refer our Policy.
  • Can I place an order for delivery to multiple Addresses?
    No, currently you will have to place multiple orders for multiple addresses
  • Can you hold my order for few days? (Because I am going out of station.)
    Please call us at Customer Care to advise us about such exceptions, and we shall try our best to accommodate your instructions.
  • What are your shipping charges? Or; Are there any additional charges for delivery?
    We offer free shipping.
  • Does your product price include shipping charges?
    We currently offer FREE SHIPPING for ALL ORDERS. There are no charges for delivery, or for any other charges like octroi etc, where these are applicable
  • How do I Track my Order?
    You can check your order status on our website (link would be mentioned) in the My account section.
  • I have placed an order 1 week back, when will I get it? Or, what is the estimated delivery time for an Order?
    All orders usually ship within 1-5 working days after you place the order. However, sometimes orders get delayed due to stock unavailability. For your specific order, click here to check the status.
  • Can you arrange delivery for my order late in the evening?
    We only deliver during business hours, Monday to Saturday. For more details please refer to our shipping policy.
  • Who will pay charges for the return shipment?
    If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, and wish to return the item as per our Cancellation and Exchange Policy through courier pickup arranged by us, you do not have to pay any courier charges for the return shipment.
  • What should I do if the Product I ordered has reached me in a damaged/defective condition?
    a) If you realize that the package is damaged before accepting the delivery, please do not accept the delivery and immediately inform us. 
    b) If you have accepted the delivery, and then realized that the package is damaged, please feel free to get in touch with us within 30 days of receiving the package.   • How can I cancel my Order?
    You can cancel your order, before it is shipped. With an exception of a few items which cannot be cancelled we will refund the full amount charged to your card, as Mondodeal credits into your Mondodeal account.   • What should I do if I get something else instead of what I had ordered? Or; I have not ordered what you have sent me.
    We take great care to deliver exactly what you ordered. However, sometimes orders may get mixed up. Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the delivery in case you have been delivered anything other than what you had ordered.
  • I live in India, but I am getting a message that you do not deliver to my PINCODE, how can I order?
    We are continually working on adding to the list of pincodes we deliver to, Please check with us again in some time. Also, please check the PINCODE you have entered. The pin code should not have any spaces.
  • How can I track my order which is in-transit?
    You can track the shipment status of your order on the courier website for which the URL and Tracking code are emailed to you after your order is shipped.
  • Is gift-wrapping offered as a service? Is it charged?
    You would have the option at the time of checkout to choose from either our free packaging or from the charged ones being offered.

  • Is registration compulsory? Or Do I need to register to be able to shop at Mondodeal.com?

a) No, you need not register to shop at Mondodeal.com. However, if you register you could avail of the benefits of better service, quicker checkout and a host of special privileges.
b) You may place an order without registering or creating an account during checkout. In such cases, we shall email you a link, using which you can set up a password and create any time as per your convenience, to avail the benefits of registering.

c) You may also login to Mondodeal.com using your Facebook account.

  • Why should I register? Or what is the benefit of registering? Or Do I need to register to be able to shop at Mondodeal.com?
    No, you need not register to shop at Mondodeal.com. However, if you register you could avail of the benefits of better service, quicker checkout and a host of special privileges.

  • What if I have forgotten my Password?
    We can help you retrieve your password if you click on the “forgot password?” link on the Login page, and enter your email ID registered with us. We will email instructions to reset your password to the email ID provided.
  • How do I change my password?
    You can change your password in the My account section.
  • Can I edit my personal details
    Yes, most of your personal details are editable. It can be done in the My account section under edit profile tab

  • What if I have forgotten my Login Id/ Customer Id?

  • How can I change my email address? Can I change the email id I used for registration?
    You cannot modify your e-mail address, since your email address is your user Id.
  • Is email address mandatory when registering?
    Yes. Your email ID is the same as your username/login ID, and is therefore required when you create an account on www.Mondodeal.com.

  •  How do I know if the recipient has accepted the gift request or not?

When the recipient accepts the gift, we would inform you by sending an email to the registered email address. We’d also inform you the preferred delivery date selected by the recipient so that you know when the gift is expected to be delivered.

  • How do I know why did the recipient reject the gift?

There could be multiple reasons that your gift request got rejected.
